We Win Institute

Minneapolis Minnesota

We Win Institute (We Win) is a community-based nonprofit committed to creating academic and social success for all children. Grounded in the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, WE WIN provides a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where youth can build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop as leaders.
The organization works holistically—supporting not only students, but also families. By encouraging meaningful parental involvement in children’s lives and schools, WE WIN reinforces the critical connection between home, education, and long-term success. Through literacy initiatives, mentoring, and hands-on educational programming, youth gain a strong foundation in core academic subjects while building the social and emotional skills necessary to navigate school and life.
WE WIN’s mission centers on challenging young people to reach their highest potential. Many participants are youth who are not traditionally engaged in out-of-school programming; WE WIN creates accessible pathways for them to grow, lead, and contribute positively to their communities.
Through intentional curriculum design and community engagement, the organization seeks to:
  • Support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of youth
  • Cultivate leadership through active participation and service
  • Equip youth with academic and life-readiness skills that foster long-term success
By empowering youth and families with practical tools and sustained support, WE WIN advances lasting, systemic change—helping young people succeed today while strengthening communities for the future
